I consider it a privilege to walk alongside couples as they seek to heal & repair their relationship. I believe that we are created to live in healthy relationship with one another, but often we find ourselves unable to heal because of past wounds. Perhaps you and your partner get stuck in this negative cycle and feel frustrated and maybe hopeless. Using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, my goal is to help you realize there is a way forward together where you can experience healing, safety, and security through meaningful emotional connection.

Sometimes partners may feel so disconnected and wounded, resulting in one or both of you feeling uncertain about couples therapy or even repairing the relationship. Maybe you’re leaning towards divorce, but still have doubts. If this applies to you, Discernment Counseling may be a better option. The goal of Discernment Counseling is to gain greater clarity and confidence in your decision making about the future of your relationship, based on a deeper understanding of what’s happened to your relationship and each person’s contributions to the problems. My goal in Discernment Counseling is to help you reach your goals for your relationship, whether you choose to stay the course, to divorce, or to commit to couples therapy.

My husband and I are both originally from Virginia, but moved to SC in 2001.  When I am not in the office or homeschooling, I enjoy reading, trying new foods, & traveling with my husband and 2 daughters.
