About Natalie

Reaching out for support can feel scary—especially when it comes to the deeply personal parts of your life like sexuality, identity, or the pain of past experiences. Whether you’re carrying sexual shame, navigating the aftermath of trauma, struggling with intimacy or dysfunction, or facing a major life transition, you deserve a place where you can be fully seen and supported.

My work centers around creating a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can explore the parts of your story that may have felt too heavy—or too hard—to share. I believe healing happens when we are met with safety, curiosity, and care, especially in the places where we’ve been taught to feel shame or silence. I’m trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a powerful, evidence-based approach for trauma and emotional healing. I am also a member of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists and currently in training towards my certification in sex therapy. This means I integrate clinical expertise with a compassionate understanding of the spiritual and emotional layers that often surround sexual concerns.

Prior to my work as a counselor, I worked as a director of a local non-profit where I trained hundreds of adults to work in mentoring roles with underserved students. During that time, I became a certified ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) trainer and became passionate about presenting brain-based research in a way that is understandable to all. If your trauma symptoms leave you asking, “what is wrong with me?,” I like to draw on my teaching experience to help you see how and why your stress response is perfectly normal, and work with you to find a way forward.

I have been married to my husband for 21 years and we have four teenagers who keep us very busy. If we aren’t at one of their arts or athletic events in our free time, then you’ll likely find us running (or walking) on a local trail in the Upstate.
