About Angela

I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I completed training through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) to obtain the elite Certified Sex Addiction Therapist title. I then further trained with the Addo Recovery team in Linden, UT to specialize in Betrayal Trauma for families impacted by infidelity, betrayal, addiction, pornography and abandonment. I am EMDR II and Brainspotting trained for trauma-specific processing and more general client empowerment. Most recently I trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy to help clients move past recurring thoughts and images from painful experiences.

I provide individual, couples, and group intensives and workshops in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina.

I am available in-person and remotely and can help assist with formal disclosures (and the immediate days following) in a private retreat setting.

Free Drop-In Support Group every Sunday Night

Angela moderates the Co-Ed Prodependence Partner Drop-In support group. This is not a 12-step group nor is it therapy; it is a place to share struggles or triumphs, to give and receive support, and to just not be alone.

This is for all genders, all orientations, and all relationship statuses. We want this to be a safe place for all who identify as being a betrayed partner.

How Could I Forgive?

Angela offers a workgroup to examine the concepts of forgiveness and how it can be utilized to assist in personal healing, even if the person who caused harm isn't sorry. This affordable, 8 week group is psychoeducational and open to all genders, all orientations, and all relationship statuses for people all over the world. This is offered in the Spring and in the Fall. The next one starts in September.

Seeking Integrity's Betrayed Partners Groups

Dr. Rob Weiss wrote his books on Prodependence to support healing for betrayed partners - not to pathologize them for loving someone who is broken and struggling. This workgroup provides education and support for partners who want to learn how to navigate this path - one that they did not choose for themselves.
