About Angela
I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I completed training through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) to obtain the elite Certified Sex Addiction Therapist title. I then further trained with the Addo Recovery team in Linden, UT to specialize in Betrayal Trauma for families impacted by infidelity, betrayal, addiction, pornography and abandonment. I am EMDR II and Brainspotting trained for trauma-specific processing and more general client empowerment. My training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy helps clients move past recurring thoughts and images from painful experiences, to begin to feel safer in their daily life, more free from unwanted thoughts and dysregulating mental pictures.
I provide individual, couples, and group intensives and workshops in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina.
I am available in-person and remotely and can help assist with formal disclosures (and the immediate days following) in a private retreat setting.

Help Her Heal group
NEXTÂ GROUP START DATE:Â TBD
Led by expert CSATs Dr. Hal Stewart and Angela Spearman, we meet weekly on Zoom to discuss the concepts of, and strategies for, helping your betrayed partner heal after infidelity, as presented in the required workbook.
This unique offering provides the betrayed partner one group session to discuss their own concerns with Dr. Hal and Angela, before they starting meeting with the men.
After the group finishes, we also provide a free follow-up group Zoom to continue the integration of the new strategies in the relationship!

Trauma-Proofing Your Kids workgroup
Join Angela for 7 weekly Q&A webinars, open to couples and individuals. Examine the strategies and ideas presented by Dr. Peter Levine in the best-selling book: "Trauma-Proofing Your Kids." All ages will be discussed, including adults.Â
DUE TO HIGH DEMAND: Angela will be offering this workgroup again in October. Registration opens Sept. 21st.

Cynical... and whatever!
Betrayal can leave us cynical and numb. These intense reactions to the pain and disorientation can be helpful for a time. But how do we regain softness, openness, and the ability to see good and beauty around us every day, without burying our heads in the sand or minimizing our experiences? This special workgroup explores a return to life utilizing the book, "Hope for Cynics: The Surprising Science of Human Goodness" by Jamil Zaki, and other excellent sources. Registration coming soon!

Free Drop-In Support Group every Sunday Night
Angela moderates the Co-Ed Prodependence Partner Drop-In support group. This is not a 12-step group nor is it therapy; it is a place to share struggles or triumphs, and to give and receive support - you don't have to go through this alone. Not anymore.
This is for all genders, all orientations, and all relationship statuses. We want this to be a safe place for all who identify as a betrayed partner.

Seeking Integrity's Betrayed Partners Groups
Dr. Rob Weiss wrote his books on Prodependence to support healing for betrayed partners - not to pathologize them for loving someone who is broken and struggling. This workgroup provides education and support for partners who want to learn how to navigate this path - one that they did not choose for themselves.
NEXT GROUP STARTS September 24th!

Prodependence
Angela has been an advocate for Prodependence treatment for loved ones of addicts since the start of her career and the introduction of the new model by Dr. Robert Weiss. Read her articles on prodependence.com to learn more about why Prodependence matters and how it can inform treatment of betrayal trauma and sex addiction.
